Very Strange, But Sadly True

Petty Politician

Self-identified feminists can be so mindless it's embarrassing.  Green Party leader, Metiria Turei has caused pretty much the whole nation to cringe, we suspect, when she attempted to smear the Prime Minister with a charge of sexism.

Key had been interacting with the head of the NZ Intelligence ("SIS") service at a parliamentary committee hearing, when the subject of jihadi brides came up.  Apparently, several NZ women have been tracked by the SIS as leaving NZ and have ended up in Syria.

If Turei were remotely concerned for the welfare of women we would have expected her to take to the hustings to decry the oppression of women in Islam in general, and under the tender mercies of ISIS, in particular.  Not so.  Instead, feminazi that she appears to be, scolded the Prime Minister for his sexism!
And Green Party co-leader Metiria Turei has also hit out at Prime Minister John Key's comments on so-called "jihadi brides" - saying they are particularly insulting to Muslim women and show he thinks "the only good use of a women going overseas is as a wife".
How do one's moral and ideological compasses become so bent and twisted?
