Victorian Preachers Could Soon be Imprisoned for Preaching Biblical Sexuality

As a Victorian, I have a moral obligation to report to authorities personal knowledge of alleged child abuse. As a pastor of a church, I have both a moral and legal duty to report knowledge of or suspicions of child abuse. Mandatory reporting is a social good. Even without the legal requirement, one’s natural concerns for a child’s wellbeing would automate contacting the police.

In Victoria, under new laws being proposed by the Andrews Government, I can be imprisoned for 12-18 months, for speaking up against the psychological and physical trauma inflicted upon children by gender warriors and dangerous medicos who work to change a child’s gender or sex.

Last year the Victorian Government revealed plans to ban conversion practices. While the original issue was gay conversion therapy, the scope has been broadened to include any and all sexualities, including transgenderism. In November, I exposed the biased and flawed reports upon which the Government is basing its definition. I also noted at the time that the proposed definition of conversion therapy is so broad that it includes normal Church preaching from the Bible where topics of sexuality are mentioned. Indeed, a Christian wedding could also fall foul for Christian Churches define marriage as exclusively between a man and a woman. In what would be an extraordinary attack on Christianity, an Australian State Government is arguing that Classical Christian teaching is harmful and can be banned.

Earlier in January, retired Judge of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Stuart Lindsay, wrote an article where he alerts Victorians to another serious implication of Government’s planned laws.

They say that sunlight is the best disinfectant.  And so it can be amongst men: the revelation of good deeds and misdeeds can go a long way towards setting things on a better course.  

In this light, it seems a very positive thing that the dark secrets of Roman Catholicism concerning the sexual purity of Roman Catholic priests are now being publicly disclosed--despite the ongoing demands for secrecy and confidentiality.

Over the past four months, Roman Catholic dioceses across the U.S. have released the names of more than 1,000 priests and others accused of sexually abusing children in an unprecedented public reckoning spurred at least in part by a shocking grand jury investigation in Pennsylvania, an Associated Press review has found.

Nearly 50 dioceses and religious orders have publicly identified child-molesting priests in the wake of the Pennsylvania report issued in mid-August, and 55 more have announced plans to do the same over the next few months, the AP found. Together they account for more than half of the nation’s 187 dioceses.

The review also found that nearly 20 local, state or federal investigations, either criminal or civil, have been launched since the release of the grand jury findings. Those investigations could lead to more names and more damning accusations, as well as fines against dioceses and court-ordered safety measures.

“People saw what happened in these parishes in Pennsylvania and said, ‘That happened in my parish too.’ They could see the immediate connection, and they are demanding the same accounting,” said Tim Lennon, national president of the board of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, or SNAP.  [AP]

In many cases the accused cannot be brought to trial.  They have passed to face a higher court.  But the disclosures are useful and beneficial nonetheless.

We are living amidst a rapid integration into the void--to use the words of Cornelius Van Til.  The waters swirl faster as they approach the plug hole.  So with cultures going "down the tubes".

Consider the speed at which sexual degradation has morphed into an inviolable human right.  The degradation used to consist of homosexualists coming "out of the closet" to argue that what they practised and promoted was a human right because they were "born that way".  No-one has ever discovered a homosexual gene, but they were certain there was one.  The issue was akin to ethnicity they argued: no-one should be stigmatised for the way they were born, for their genetic code.

Then, the issue "morphed" into an argument over whether people had a human right to choose to be homosexual.  The proposition now became that homosexuals were not genetically made that way, but they were choosing homosexual practice and lifestyle as a preference.   Homosexuality morphed from a genetic-based right into a freedom, or volitional, right.  It was a rapid transformation.  The next iteration was even more rapid: homosexualists had a volitional right to marry and have their "marriage" codified in law; but they also had a freedom right to divorce and reverse their homosexualism to heterosexuality or bi-sexuality, or whatever they wanted.  What was required, demanded, was that everyone else cheer and celebrate their choices.

Fast following came genderism.  This next iteration released human gender from one's genetic structure, and made it also a matter of preference and volition.

The Sydney Morning Herald has carried a piece about pederasty facilitated by misuse of the Internet.  The core of the piece reveals not just the extent of the crime, but the sophistication of its perpetrators. 

A special police taskforce has discovered the number of sex offenders who target children in in Australia has been wildly underestimated and local paedophiles have set up secure online sites to share intelligence on how to trap victims.  Deputy Commissioner Graham Ashton says police are shocked at the number of active offenders operating in Victoria. "There are hundreds and hundreds. We have found some terrible stuff that would keep you awake at night," he told Fairfax Media.

He said Taskforce Astraea is conducting 120 separate investigations and has rescued 40 children in Australia and offshore who had been targeted by paedophiles.   The taskforce began by using computer software to identify encrypted child pornography images but soon discovered many offenders move quickly from "passive" observers to aggressive molesters.

As shocking as the Muslim-run sex ring in Rotherham, England may seem to some—1,400 British children as young as 11 plied with drugs before being passed around and sexually abused in cabs and kabob shops—the fact is that this phenomenon is immensely widespread. In the United Kingdom alone, it's the fifth sex abuse ring led by Muslims to be uncovered.

Some years back in Australia, a group of "Lebanese Muslim youths" were responsible for a "series of brutal gang rapes" of "Anglo-Celtic teenage girls." A few years later in the same country, four Muslim Pakistani brothers raped at least 18 Australian women, some as young as 13. Even in the United States, a gang of Somalis—Somalia being a Muslim nation where non-Muslims, primarily Christians, are ruthlessly persecuted—was responsible for abducting, buying, selling, raping and torturing young American girls as young as 12.

. . . we must call it Muslim rape since Islam is the common denominator in all these cases from otherwise diverse nations that have little in common except for large numbers of Muslims.

The question begs itself: If Muslim minorities have no fear of exploiting "infidel" women and children in non-Muslim countries—that is, where Muslims themselves are potentially vulnerable minorities—how are Muslims throughout the Islamic world, where they are dominant, treating their vulnerable, non-Muslim minorities?

The answer is a centuries-long, continents-wide account of nonstop sexual predation. Boko Haram's recent abduction and enslavement of nearly 300, mostly Christian, schoolgirls last April in Nigeria is but the tip of the iceberg.
