Joe Biden and the Brownshirts

Joe Biden’s ‘Four Crises’ Deliberately Ignore Rising Crime and Left-Wing Riots

John Nolte
Breitbart News

A startling rise in violent crime and months of left-wing riots are not included on Joe Biden’s list of presidential priorities.

On Thursday night, Biden gave his speech accepting the Democrat nomination for president. The address clearly laid out his priorities, what he called the “four historic crises.”
And now history has delivered us to one of the most difficult moments America has ever faced. Four historic crises. All at the same time. A perfect storm. The worst pandemic in over 100 years. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. The most compelling call for racial justice since the 60’s. And the undeniable realities and accelerating threats of climate change. So, the question for us is simple: Are we ready? I believe we are.
There’s no way around the fact that like the rest of the Democrat party and the corporate media propaganda machine, Biden has decided to pretend months of rioting and an explosion of violent crime just isn’t happening.

We all know why this makes the left uncomfortable. The riots and violent crime explosion are all happening in Democrat-run cities. What’s more, the riots are almost exclusively led by the Democrats’ Brownshirts, the left-wing terrorists in Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

The fact Biden deliberately ignored two legitimate crises proves the most crucial part of his speech, his biggest promise, a lie…  “But while I will be a Democratic candidate,” Biden said, “I will be an American president. I will work as hard for those who didn’t support me as I will for those who did.”

“That’s the job of a president,” he added. “To represent all of us, not just our base or our party. This is not a partisan moment. This must be an American moment.”

How can Biden be America’s president?

A Modest Proposal

No Longer Bored

New Zealand is awash with criminal gangs.  Here is a media account of a couple of gangs in action (against each other).

Mongrel Mob prospect Hayden Wallace clutched a loaded rifle inside one of three cars approaching the home of Black Power rival Josh Te Tua.

It was after dark on May 5, 2007 and the vehicle Wallace was in had turned off its lights. An hour earlier, amid a day of escalating tensions between the two gangs, three carloads of Mongrel Mob members and associates had driven past the Whanganui house and been pelted with bottles, bricks and other missiles. They were back for revenge.

During the earlier altercation, a brick smashed the windscreen of patched mobster Karl Check's four-wheel-drive.  Unhappy, Check handed a .303 rifle to Wallace and was overheard telling him to "shoot him in the head".

Outside Te Tua's home, about 20 Black Power members and supporters had gathered on the lawn.  As the vehicles carrying the Mongrel Mob members passed the property three gunshots rang out. The Black Power members dived for cover and escaped injury.  One of the bullets went through a window and ripped through the chest of Te Tua's two-year-old daughter, Jhia, who was asleep on the couch.

Wallace, Check and Ranji Forbes, the driver of the car Wallace was in, were later found guilty of murder in one of the few cases in the past two decades where an innocent bystander has become a victim of warring gangs.  [NZ Herald]
Intra-gang warfare has become a kind of entertainment.  We can tolerate it, except for when things go too far--which they did in the case of the murder of two year old, Jhia.

It's around about at this point that we find our minds and memories drifting back to the Roman Empire.

How Low Can the Incompetence Go?

Unbelievable, But True

As inconceivable as it may appear, the fox has been put in charge of the henhouse--in real life.  New Zealand is being run by government agencies that are either incompetent, ignorant, or infantile, or, on the other hand, government departments have become front organizations for criminal gangs.

Consider the following:
A high-profile gang member has been stood down from his role within the Royal Commission of Inquiry into historic state abuse months after multiple allegations of domestic violence were raised.

Harry Tam, a long-time member of the Mongrel Mob, was the facilitator of the inquiry's Survivors Advisory Group, a position that gave him the authority to appoint gang-affiliated men and women to the group, and access survivors' personal information.

The Royal Commission of Inquiry into Historical Abuse in Care released a statement Friday morning stating it was aware of allegations raised against "a staff member" and had commenced an independent investigation, but would not comment on the nature of the allegations. The Commission said the matter has been referred to New Zealand Police.  [Stuff]
So, here is this leading gang member who has allegations of domestic abuse and assault made against him.  He has been appointed to help run an inquiry into historical abuse suffered by those in state care.  Apparently his bosses thought he would be a sitter for this particular sinecure because he had first-hand knowledge of domestic violence.  He has been a front-line perp it would seem.

Harry Tam's former partner complained.

Politicians and Do-Gooders Living in Alice's Wonderland

Gangs are Changing All Right – For The Worse

David Garrett
Kiwiblog

Gangs are changing alright – for the worse

One of the “experts” at Andrew Little’s justice talkfest is Dr Jarrod Gilbert of Canterbury University. Gilbert has pretty much supplanted Greg Newbold as the media’s “go to” guy on gangs and crime. Gilbert is the author of “Patched: the history of gangs in New Zealand”. In it, Gilbert manages for the most part to disguise the fact that he is essentially an apologist for gangs. His recent message – and no doubt the message  he will  preach  at the Justice Summit – is that gangs are changing for the better, and so must our attitude to them. The subtext is that gangs are becoming more like the “alternative form of whanau” that Tariana Turia has claimed for years that they are. Nothing could be further from  the truth.

This morning, 21 August,  Stuff reports a gang shooting in Wanganui in which a gang member died  when a rival gang invaded his house. Two months ago there was a similar incident in which a young gang associate died and his girlfriend, who he apparently died trying to protect, was seriously injured. Wanganui was also the scene of a drive by gang shooting in which a young baby was killed in 2007.

And it’s not just  gang members shooting at  each other. In January 2017 the Black Power took a funeral procession through Mongrel Mob “territory” in Whakatane. It was an organized confrontation in  which numerous shots were fired at police in the streets of Whakatane. The members of the two gangs involved  were obviously totally unconcerned about the safety of innocent bystanders. By pure chance, no-one was killed.

This sort of behaviour has been going on for at least twenty years, and contrary to Gilbert’s claims,  gang violence involving firearms is becoming more not less common.  This morning’s murder is just the latest such incident. And for any reader of Gilbert’s book, none of this can be a surprise. The Mongrel Mob for example idolize  and aspire to ever more “mongrelish behaviour”. “Mongrelish behaviour” is anything which is contrary to and grossly affronts the norms of ordinary civilized behaviour: raping and sometimes killing women to get a patch (Mallory Manning); bashing and even  killing anyone who gets in their way; bashing, raping and intimidating the “bitches” who serve their material and sexual needs.

The gang problem is of course not new: in 1972 Norman Kirk pledged to “take the bikes off the bikies”. Once in office, nothing was done.

Myanmar's Unsavoury Export

From the Golden Triangle to New Zealand, With "Love"

Methamphetamine made by armed rebels and gangs in Myanmar jungles coming to New Zealand

Kurt Bayer
NZ Herald

Narco-guerrillas and ruthless foreign gangs in the lawless, remote jungles of Myanmar are cranking out high-purity crystal methamphetamine at unprecedented levels, which top drug experts say is appearing on New Zealand streets.

Safely nestled in mountainous, dense forests, with the Myanmar authorities and army turning a blind eye, and often aided by state-backed militias, high-tech meth laboratories and factories employing world-class chemists are fuelling a US$40 billion regional drug economy.

Record billion-dollar busts in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand in recent months – with tonnes bound for wider distribution by organised crime supply networks – has the United Nations ramping up political pressure on troubled Myanmar, also called Burma, and other governments of the so-called Golden Triangle region, to help crack down on the rampant drug trade.

"What we see inside Myanmar right now is massive amounts of really-high-purity crystal meth being produced, and this supply push or oversupply is being connected to high demand across the region, including in places like Australia and New Zealand, which have some of the highest crystal meth prices per kilo in the world," says Jeremy Douglas, Southeast Asia and the Pacific regional representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The last three years have seen a "massive surge" in crystal meth production in northern Myanmar, especially from outside gangs moving into the territory controlled by ethnic armed groups, says Douglas, the veteran Bangkok-based UN head of office.  The mass-produced methamphetamine, widely known as P in New Zealand, is typically produced using pseudoephedrine and ephedrine – everyday cough and cold remedy ingredients. Huge quantities of the precursor chemicals are smuggled into Myanmar, mostly from China and Northeast India, the Herald has been told.

Once synthesised into crystal meth, the finished product is trafficked across the country's porous borders before being shifted through established Southeast Asian organised crime networks.

Hard Baked Human Depravity

No Hope In This World

There is a growing "class" of people in New Zealand who give every indication they are beyond redemption.  The clay has been in the oven far too long.  It has baked into hard, intractable lines.

The people found in the "baked clay" class have sometimes been referred to as the Underclass.  These are people who are locked into an endless cycle of destructive behaviour, including self-destruction.  In recent days a case was profiled in the media which illustrates what goes on in the thoroughly baked underclass.
He was the best boyfriend she ever had.  Kind-hearted, helpful and selfless, she said.  But seven weeks on, she was thinking differently – and irrationally. He was a snake, a snitch and spreading rumours.  Over four hours in a friend's kitchen, she tied his hands behind his back, stripped him and assaulted him with punches and kicks.   She then marched him out of the flat and took him to the desolate state house where she lived with her pregnant sister. There she wrapped a computer cord around his neck and strangled him. Police found his body the next day wrapped in a red faux mink blanket under a double bed.  [Stuff]

The events are horrific.  The crime deserved a severe sanction.  Yet there is a back story to Samson that goes a long way to explain (not justify) who she is and what she has become.

Russia's Embedded Criminal Caste

The Reign of Urki Terror

One feature not often understood with respect to the Soviet Union's slave labour camps--the Gulags--was that they were deliberately (by design) controlled by criminal gangs.  There were two kinds of prisoner: the "politicals" that were sentenced by the state to long terms of hard, forced labour for reason of failing to support the Communist regime, on the one hand, and "ordinary" criminals (thieves, murderers, rapists, etc.), on the other.

These two groups were put into the camps together.  Deliberately.  The criminals, the Urki were permitted to prey upon the politicals, thereby keeping them in line and control.
To the inexperienced political prisoner, to the young peasant girl arrested for stealing a loaf of bread, to the unprepared Polish deportee, a first encounter with the urki, the Soviet Union's professional criminal caste, would have been bewildering, shocking and unfathomable.  Evgeniya Ginzburg met her first female criminals as she was boarding the boat to Kolyma:
They were they cream of the criminal world: murderers, sadists, adept at every kind of sexual perversion . . . without wasting any time they set about terrorizing and bullying the "ladies", delighted to find that "enemies of the people" were creatures even more despised and outcast than themselves . . . . They seized our bits of bread, snatching the last of our rags with our bundles, pushed us out of the places we had managed to find . . .  [Anne Appelbaum, Gulag: A History of the Soviet Camps (New York: Penguin, 2004), p. 261.]
In New Zealand we have a pale reflection of what the the reign of the urki would have been like.

Letter From the UK (About the Rochdale Predators Today)

Only Two Remain in Prison

Jack Montgomery
BreitbartLondon

Only two of the nine men convicted following the Rochdale child grooming scandal remain in prison, and four are using taxpayers’ money to fight deportation to Pakistan.  The Manchester Evening News reports that only Shabir Ahmed, 64, and Mohammed Sajid, 40, are still in custody.

Mohammed Amin, 50; Abdul Qayyum, 49; Hamid Safi, 27; Adil Khan, 47; Abdul Rauf, 48; Abdul Aziz, 46; and Kabeer Hassan, 30, have all completed short sentences of five years or less, or been released on license halfway through longer sentences – as is standard since Labour passed the Criminal Justice Act 2003.

Four of the men, including ringleader Shabir ‘Daddy’ Ahmed, were stripped of their British citizenship so they could be be deported to Pakistan, but are now mounting a taxpayer-funded legal challenge in the Court of Appeal, aided by lawyers accused of “gaming the system”.  The paedophile targeted “dozens” of vulnerable white teenagers, usually underage, for years, in an episode which has been partly serialised by the BBC in the drama Three Girls.

An official report found that the grooming gangs, composed overwhelmingly of Muslim men, were able to operate with impunity because police, prosecutors and social services feared being accused of racism if they intervened.

Entirely Predictable

Criminal Gangs Exploit the Ignorance of Politicians

We have blogged on previous occasions warning of a crime wave about to come.  That particular tsunami has now struck.  Cigarettes are now the coin-du-jour of the underworld.  This development has been entirely caused by the government of New Zealand.  It is the unintended consequence of hubris and folly.

The gummint is trying to make New Zealand tobacco smoke-free by 2025.  Its tactic of choice is progressively to tax tobacco and cigarettes so as to make them expensive luxury items which only the rich can afford.  We and others have warned that this unenlightened approach would have the entirely predictable consequence of a crime wave, where hoods and the desperate rock into local convenience stores to steal tobacco.  And so it has come to pass.  And it will get worse.

This from Stuff:

Entirely Predictable

A New Industry

New Zealand has a grandiose scheme.  It was dreamed up by the former co-leader of the Maori Party, Tariana Turia.  It was supported by the health Nazi's and a legion of do-gooders.  The scheme is to make New Zealand "smoke free" by 2025.

The key weapon to achieve this idealistic goal is tax.  The government is raising taxes on cigarettes and other tobacco products regularly.  This, naturally enough, increases the price of the product in the shops.  Higher price.  Lower demand.  A "smoke free" future beckons.

But, once again, the central planners have overlooked the unintended consequences.  Cigarettes are now so expensive they serve as a hard currency substitute.  Robberies--increasingly forceful and violent--where the object is to grab as many cigarette packets as possible are on the rise.  Why?  Because there is a ready market for them.  They are easy to convert to cash.

The days of being able to swagger into a local dairy and rob the till are fast becoming long gone.  Eftpos and other forms of electronic purchasing has meant that the average contents of the till are reducing by the week.  Not much in there to rob.  But ciggies are becoming an alternative currency--and will become more and more so as the price continues to rise.

We Get What We Pay For

PBG--Pretty But Gangster

Nearly every day we hear or read  a story like this:
A vehicle was carjacked during a police chase overnight that stretched from Auckland's North Shore to the Waikato.  Police said at 12.25am officers attempted to stop a fleeing vehicle on Lake Rd, Devonport.   The pursuit was abandoned and the driver continued heading south on the Southern Motorway at high speed.  Police used spikes at Bombay and the vehicle stopped a short distance later.  The driver made a dash for freedom taking a second vehicle at gunpoint.  ONE News reported the man was eating raw methamphetamine during the chase and took a person hostage during the carjacking. [NZ Herald]
Eventually the "perp" was apprehended in the Waikato.  We have seen an increasing number of flights-by-vehicle where, under police rules, the chase has had to be abandoned.  In the case above, doubtless fixed cameras and/or the police helicopter would have tracked the fleeing driver and police would have intercepted the perp rather than chased him.

But the more general problem remains.  The widespread awareness that police chases will almost certainly be abandoned has had the perverse incentive of encouraging vehicular flight.

You Get More of What You Pay For

Subsidising Criminal Gangs

Gangs, criminal gangs, are a real problem in New Zealand.  They have now been around long enough that they are creating inter-generational problems.  Officials have started  researching the cycle of violence and criminal behaviour that moves from one generation to another.  Most of this stuff is what everyone really suspected or expected, but measuring and quantifying is very useful.

Firstly, it shows that the taxpayers subsidise gangs and virtually fund their continuing existence.  The old adage has it, What you pay for, you get more of.  To the extent that society (the taxpayer) funds and supports gangs and gang members is the extent to which gangs and gang culture will always be with us.

The Reign of the PR Meisters

Getting Away With Horrendous Crime For Years

The fruits of Unbelief, nurtured in self-sufficient "we know best" delusions, are devastating.  The curses of the Covenant are never pretty, never noble, never nice.  We have followed the horrible story of authorities in various English towns and boroughs turning Nelson's eye to horrific, systemic crime because they feared being labelled racist or of being accused of exacerbating community tensions.

Behold the cowardly inversion of the childhood proverb: "sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me."  In our rebellion against the Lord Jesus Christ, the rotten fruits of Unbelief have made words or labels hurtful--so much so that it is better to witness the vulnerable being tormented with far worse than with sticks and stones, than risk being defamed as a racist.  Cowardice is ever the mark of the Enemy.

Police Withheld Child Grooming Gang Report For Five Years For Fear Of Stoking Racial Tension

by Sarkis Zeronian
BretibartLondon

West Midlands Police withheld a report warning that more than 100 predominantly white children – some only 13 years old – were at serious risk of child exploitation for fear it could inflame racial tension ahead of a General Election. It was finally revealed today, under the Freedom of Information Act, that Britain’s second largest police force withheld the March 2010 document – ‘Problem Profile, Operation Protection’ – which set out how grooming gangs of 75 mainly Muslim men from Birmingham targeted schools and children’s homes across the West Midlands.

300 Suspects Identified In ‘Horrendous’ Rotherham Child Sex Abuse Scandal

By Nick Hallett
BreitbartLondon

Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) has said it has identified about 300 possible suspects in an investigation into child sex abuse in the town of Rotherham.

Steve Baldwin, senior investigating officer at the NCA, said the 1,400 victims in the town identified by Professor Alexis Jay in her damning report last year was “a very good estimate”.  The Daily Mail also reports that two current or former town councillors are under investigation over allegations they were involved in the abuse.

The investigation – named Operation Stovewood – began in December following the publication of the Jay Report, which described how hundreds of children in Rotherham had been groomed, trafficked and raped by gangs of mainly Pakistani men between 1997 and 2013.  The report was also severely critical of the police and the local council and led to a number of high profile resignations.

Multi-Culti In Action

300 victims groomed and assaulted by Oxfordshire gangs, report finds

Serious case review finds failings by police and social services as it identifies hundreds of victims

The Daily Telegraph

A damning report is expected to disclose that more than 300 young people have been groomed and sexually exploited by gangs in Oxfordshire over the past 15 years. Systemic failures by police and social services meant victims were subjected to years of sexual torture, rape and trafficking, it is understood. The victims, mostly girls, come predominantly from Oxford, making it the latest area in Britain to be embroiled in a scandal over the handling of child sex abuse and proving the issue is not confined to inner cities.

One senior investigative source told The Guardian: “If you think you haven’t got a problem in your city or town, you are just not looking for it.”  The report comes after seven men were jailed for a string of horrendous child sex crimes against six victims, aged between 11 and 15, over a seven-year period.

How Has It Come to This?

Not On Our Watch

Closing down local bodies and running them by commissioners appointed by central government is rare, but it does happen from time to time. Often it is due to financial mismanagement.  Other occasions have been due to council infighting leading to dysfunctional decision-making.  We suspect that when the UK government recently closed down Rotherham Council, it was due to a reason never before seen.

The hegemony of political correctness and the religion of multi-culturalism in that council led to a reign predatory terror by gangs of Pakistani youth upon vulnerable children.  The council turned a blind eye, lest it be guilty of racism, or, worse,  be in violation of the ultimate social ethic of multi-culturalism.  Caught up in the evil were police commanders and police bureaucrats, politicians, and social workers.

Rotherham Council Closed Down Following Sexual Abuse Failure

by Andre Walker
4 Feb 2015
BreitbartLondon

The Government  has closed down ‘dysfunctional’ Rotherham Council until an election can be held in 2016, with all powers currently held by the council’s Cabinet to be transferred to Commissioners answerable to the Secretary of State for Local Government.

Eric Pickles [Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government] made the announcement at the House of Commons today, after Rotherham was shown to have failed to protect children from being sexually abused by organised gangs from the town’s Kashmiri Pakistani community.  The Council has fourteen days to write to Pickles should they wish to object to the plan to bring in the five commissioners. He said he was taking the steps because the council was “seriously failing the people of Rotherham, and particularly the most vulnerable”.

Pickles said that he was minded to appoint the commissioners to replace the “wholly dysfunctional cabinet”. This means that all executive power currently held by democratically elected councillors would pass to the appointed officials if he presses ahead, which is all but guaranteed.  In forcing the council to accept a full ‘all out’ election of councillors in 2016 he claimed he would restore “pride” and “local accountability” to the borough. This is likely to make UKIP a serious contender to win the council, but in any case it is now unlikely democracy will be restored until that election is successfully completed.

Pickles claimed the current council leadership was opposed to democracy as it regularly cracked down on whistleblowers. He said senior managers had created an “unhealthy climate where people are afraid to speak out because they have seen the consequences for those who do.” Pickles said his plan would “put an end to the councils on going failure” and to “restore good local governance to Rotherham”.

Hilary Benn for Labour said it was time for Rotherham to “accept the truth” that they had failed to protect children. He said the “process of healing” could not take place until that happened. During the debate the Rotherham Cabinet announced they would all resign.

Rotherham Council was exposed as having failed to protect as many as 2000 victims from Muslim grooming gangs. They stand accused of refusing to stop the abuse of young white girls by Muslim men for fear of being accused of racism.

Islamic Rape Gangs

Rotherham is Just the Tip of the Iceberg

James Delingpole
7th September 2014

If you haven't yet listened to the latest Radio Free Delingpole podcast I urge you to do so: but first you'll need a strong stomach.

In it, I talk to George Igler of the Discourse Institute who has been following the Rotherham child rape gang story closely for the last three years. The full story is more shocking than you can possibly imagine, not just because of the ugliness of the abuse itself (redolent of that horrible scene from the movie Taken where smack-addled girls are serially abused in a filthy dive by countless grubby men) but also because of the extent of the cover-up by the left-liberal establishment of social workers, local government officers, child welfare charities, diversity co-ordinators, not to mention the regional police forces and even imams.

Truly this is one of the biggest scandals of our time. And it's going to get bigger.  Here are some of the disturbing revelations in the podcast.

The Fiscal Benefits of Tobacco

Asinine Zealotry

The zealots amongst us are trying to make New Zealand smoke free by 2025.  Why?  Well, it's good for us.  The state knows best.  The gummint is on a moral crusade--being spearheaded by our current nanny-in-chief, Tariana Turia.  She and her Maori parliamentary cohort are all wound up because they believe smoking is a Maori health issue: tobacco addiction rates are much higher amongst Maori than non-Maori.

Rather than do the hard yards of actually reforming Maori society they have opted to take the "easy" road.  Ban tobacco for everyone in the country.  Hell hath no greater fury than a zealous politician trying to engineer redemption by legislating to make us good.

We confidently predict that as a consequence tobacco growing will rapidly expand in the benign New Zealand climate.

Redemptive Idols

Naive Simplistic Foolish Nostrums

Kim Workman: professing Christian, ex-bureaucrat, Maori, "largessee" of Helen Clark, and all round media "go-to" guy for issues of crime and punishment in New Zealand.

An interesting article on Kim has been published by Whaleoil  on his philosophy of prisons and prison "reform".  (We  disclose at the outset our belief that prisons are blighted institutions, severely compromised in many ways.  However, there is nothing better to take their place right now.  So we had better make the best of it.)  Workman's Christianity has apparently influenced his approach to crime and punishment.  He appears to believe that "loooooove" is the Great Redeemer of mankind.  When people commit crimes against persons or property it is to be condemned; to rehabilitate them, to prevent recidivism they must be loved.  In this Workman is simply not Christian.  According to him:

Mis-Applied Civil Rights

Panty Waist Liberals and Criminal Gangs

The case of the Turangi child rapist has sickened the nation.  There has been a plethora of reports in the media about how the 16 year old, who has plead guilty, is an ordinary fellow.  His friends expressed puzzlement, disbelief, and confusion over his actions.  His community network spoke of his family being fine, upstanding people.  We were all left wondering, What on earth has gone on here?

Now, more sinister matters are coming to light.  This from Stuff:
