Uyghurs in London Protest Communist China’s Concentration Camps

In the ongoing struggle for the human rights of the Uyghur people of Xinjiang, activists gathered outside the Chinese embassy in London to condemn the mass internment of Uyghurs in communist “re-education” concentration camps.
The Chinese Communist Party has interned between one and three million Uyghur Muslim people in the western region of Xinjiang, sometimes referred to as Sinkiang or Chinese Turkestan. Uyghurs, alongside Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, and even some Christians and other religious minorities, are subject to systematic torture, disappearances and executions in the name of communist indoctrination.
One Uyghur woman described the situation in her homeland to Breitbart London, saying: “Torture, lack of food, no hygiene, and people are forced to take unknown medicines, women are forced to be sterilised. There are women who have been there for over one year, they said they didn’t have periods, young women, because they are forced to take some unknown medication.”

Persecution in North Korea
Christians Face Beatings, Rape, Torture for Professing Faith

Breitbart News
Christian North Koreans who have escaped the brutal regime tell of outrageous human rights abuses against anyone suspected of professing the faith, including routine beatings and rapes and specialized torture for those involved in underground prayer.
In a report Wednesday, Fox News profiled North Korean defector Choi Kwanghyuk, who was arrested after founding an underground house church. Choi escaped a labor camp shortly before he believes the regime was ready to transfer him to a concentration camp to end his life. Before he escaped, however, he asserted that he was tortured and witnessed the torture of many others.

“I decided to escape because I thought that once they sent me to the other camp, they could eventually send me to the concentration camp or kill me,” Choi told Fox News. “I was traveling back and forth between China and North Korea, but they kept searching for me, and I knew it could put my friends in danger too, so I left.”According to Fox, Choi witnessed a wide variety of torture:

Miracle That Saved Girl
NZ Herald
Yvonne Engelmann was just 15 when she was rounded up with her family and sent to Auschwitz concentration camp, one of the network of German Nazi extermination camps operated by the Third Reich in Poland in World War II from 1940-1945.
But it was an unlikely miracle that saw her survive to tell the disturbing tale. After arriving at the camp, Yvonne was immediately sent to the gas chamber. Thanks to some strange twist of fate, it malfunctioned and she was left naked in the chamber overnight before being freed.
By some miracle, the Nazi's kept her alive, and she was sent to sort through the clothes of newly arrived Jews to find any gold or valuables they'd hidden. Her "job" saw her stationed in between the crematorium (which burnt 24-hours daily) and the gas chambers. She ended up being the sole survivor from her entire family, and made a new life for herself in Australia.
"My father was taken to the police station many times and we never knew if he would come back. One day he returned and his front teeth had been knocked out. We lived in fear constantly - we had no idea what would happen to us in the next hour, let alone in the next day."
Born in Czechoslovakia to shopkeeper parents, Yvonne was an only child. "I had the most wonderful childhood that anyone could wish for, but unfortunately it was short-lived." At the approach of her 15th birthday, she and her family were taken from the ghetto - along with hundreds of others - to the railway station where they were piled into dozens of cattle wagons.

Yvonne's Story
"I was 14 and a half when war broke out," Yvonne tells news.com.au. "I wasn't allowed to go to school, I couldn't walk on the street, I had to wear the yellow Star of David and couldn't mix with any non-Jewish people. Friends I'd grown up with now totally ignored me, solely because I was born a Jew."My father was taken to the police station many times and we never knew if he would come back. One day he returned and his front teeth had been knocked out. We lived in fear constantly - we had no idea what would happen to us in the next hour, let alone in the next day."

Letter From America (About Concentration Camps)
Much More Than Thought
We all know about the Nazi death and concentration camps. It seems, however, that it was much more pervasive than we knew. Recent research is showing that Germany and the occupied territories were riddled with them. This, from the New York Times

The Holocaust Just Got More Shocking

THIRTEEN years ago, researchers at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum began the grim task of documenting all the ghettos, slave labor sites, concentration camps and killing factories that the Nazis set up throughout Europe.
What they have found so far has shocked even scholars steeped in the history of the Holocaust. The researchers have cataloged some 42,500 Nazi ghettos and camps throughout Europe, spanning German-controlled areas from France to Russia and Germany itself, during Hitler’s reign of brutality from 1933 to 1945.The figure is so staggering that even fellow Holocaust scholars had to make sure they had heard it correctly when the lead researchers previewed their findings at an academic forum in late January at the German Historical Institute in Washington. “The numbers are so much higher than what we originally thought,” Hartmut Berghoff, director of the institute, said in an interview after learning of the new data.“We knew before how horrible life in the camps and ghettos was,” he said, “but the numbers are unbelievable.”
