Global cooling is upon us.  The latest from Denver, breaks a snowfall record that has stood since December 15, 1897!  Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the Party.  Go forth and burn as much fossil fuel as you can find.  The salvation of the planet needs you.

A massive snowstorm that hit Denver has broken the daily snowfall record, dumping over three inches of snow overnight on the mountain city.

As of 5PM on Tuesday evening, December 15, Denver was beset with 7.7″ of snow, shattering the record of 2.8″ set on December 15, 1897.

This record is both the biggest one-day snowfall this year as well as the most snow seen on any December 15 on record.

How odd that there should be snow in winter. What could it mean? That science is wrong and snow should have vanished due to a change in the climate? No, global warming means more moisture in the air and more moisture means more precipitation.

If you are foolish enough to believe that a single record snow dump disproves global warming, then here is the proof that it does exist:

THE temperature in Adelaide has finally dropped below 20°C for the first time since the morning of December 14, as a cool change ends a record four-day heatwave.

(...)

It was the fourth consecutive day when the mercury exceeded 40C in Adelaide – a record heatwave for December – and the sixth day this month to top that mark, a record for the total number of December days over 40C.

TWO records for heat broken in just over 2 weeks.
