Militant Atheism Will Have Its Pogrom

Atheism is on the rise throughout the West.  It is a false religion.  Normally atheism is not associated with being religious.  Nevertheless it is.  If we observed that Theravada Buddhism is a religion, most would accept the claim. Yet Theravada Buddhism has no deity, just teachers and an ethical code.  Atheism functions in precisely the same way throughout the West.

Sociologist Emile Durkheim pioneered the study of religion in terms of the functions of various belief systems maintain.  His definition is that "a religion is a unified system of beliefs and practices relative to sacred things, that is to say, thing set apart and surrounded by prohibitions."  [Cited by William T. This approach is helpful.  It looks at how people function and how their belief system actually effects and controls their lives.  It is consistent with the Bible's teaching.
  In God's Word, mankind is presented as universally and incurably religious.  He either believes in the true and living God, or he devotes his life to idols.  The latter are always portrayed as human creations--just so, made up stories about parts or aspects of creation.  These idols are then given due respect, honour, fealty, and devotion.

The idol of atheism is gathering more and more devotees throughout the West.  It's leading teachers and protagonists function as its apostles and prophets.  It has a rigid code of belief and faith.  It pursues its course militantly.  It insists that those who do not believe are apostates or heretics or social misfits.  If people disagree or question this prevailing orthodoxy, not only are they immediately branded as enemies of truth, justice, and goodness, but more and more leading atheists demand punishment.  Try denying the latest atheist craze of gender-bending.  In many Western countries to deny this idiocy is to risk fines, imprisonment, or loss of employment--or all three.

In its early stages of development modern atheism attempted to position science as its leading prophet and avatar of all truth and meaning.  That is long gone now.  The "scientific" arguments, justifications, and proofs surrounding the practice of abortion, for example, have faded like daylight in a London solstice.  Now, it is all a matter of purported, fabricated human rights.  The same observation can be made with respect to gender fluidity.  What does atheism, then, rely upon as its foundation for truth and light?  More and more it relies upon brute strength, force, and compulsion.

Atheism is taking on the garb and mien of a demonic religion.  The time is fast approaching when those who stand against it will be punished not just through fines (which is already happening) butr also more severely, including imprisonment.   If anyone needed evidence on how atheism is actually a functioning religion, it is most on display here.  Throughout the West it is rapidly rolling out its own peculiar set of blasphemy laws.

Loyalty and fealty to the secular atheistic nation-state is the new orthodoxy.  If any name the Living God as the one to whom loyalty and fealty must be given, the prevailing atheistic religion will immediately move to crush dissent.  It is in the West that the new pogroms will appear.  Atheism will have its blood sacrifices.
