Is Hillary Clinton a sandwich short of a picnic? One never ceases to be surprised on the downside when politicians who have a fervent belief, not in the inane slogan, "Yes we can" but even worse, "Yes, the Gummint must" splutter forth.
Hillary has been touted as a highly intelligent person--even, it is said, smarter than the average bear. How come then this doyen of the Commentariat has uttered the following inanity: she has promised that, via executive action (that is, illegally) she will permit the families of people shot in the United States to sue the respective gun manufacturers.
Two quick thoughts. This sounds like a huge benefit to non US gun manufacturers. One imagines the makers of kalashnikovs, berettas, and glocks--along with their shareholders--will sense a significant commercial opportunity.
But even worse, why would Dillary stop with suing the manufacturers of guns which, way beyond their control, are used to hurt people? The civil courts in the United States certainly won't.
But Clinton also wants to use the UCC attack as an opportunity to change the law so that shooting victims and their families can sue gun makers into oblivion. And even though Duke University researcher Chris Conover has demonstrated that owning a car is “80 percent” more dangerous than owning a gun–as relates to the lives of others–Clinton said nothing about allowing crash victims and their families to sue Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, or Mercedes. [Breitbart News]Quite. Dumb. Dumber. And dumbest. So passes Hillary Clinton, the cleverest of them all. So lustrous is she that in her presence we are foetid swamp-dwellers all.

Amazing. The socialist slogan used to be "Buy (insert your country's name) made" yet here she is preaching the opposite. Hopefully her past will catch up with her and stop this nonsense.
