Data published by the U.S. Census Bureau and the pro-abortion rights Guttmacher Institute show that the number of babies aborted since the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 is already more than the entire population of the United States in 1880.

The U.S. resident population, according to the 1880 census, was 50,189,209. According to the Guttmacher Institute, the number of reported abortions from 1973 through 2011 adds up to 51,376,750, which is 1,187,541 more than the 1880 population.  As CNS.com reports, since 1975, the number of aborted babies in the United States each year has exceeded one million.
