It's an Orc-ish Thing

Homosexual marriage is the oxymoron of the decade, maybe the century.  Chronicler J R R Tolkien records that in the history of Middle Earth the orcs were created as an attempt by the Dark Lord, Sauron to replicate the elves.  The issue turned out to be a degenerative infamy.  So with homosexual marriage. 

As long as the remnants of the realm of the Dark Lord linger in Middle Earth attempts will be made to replicate the glory and realm of the one true King.  How should servants of the King respond?  In part, with unrestrained derision at the oxymoron.  Those who think they can disregard the divinely created order and succeed deserve to be mocked.  There can be few things more asinine.
  Of course there will be damage--collateral damage.  Those afflicted and greatly harmed by the contumely and impiety of others always deserve our support, sympathy and succour.  Those cheerleading the perversions, less so. 

The nature of oxymorons is such that they self-destruct.  One cannot build social structures on a foundation of nihilism--particularly of the self-absorbed variety.  Oh, to be sure, "homosexual marriages" will be followed by febrile efforts to bear and raise children.  Doubtless there will thus arise a generation of the fruits of homosexual marriage which will curse its inevitable miscegenation.  You cannot build a society upon a "foundation" of self-absorbed nihilism. 

So darkened is the present generation, however, that these considerations will carry no water.  The issue will have to be seen before the emotive, superficial, and easily-manipulated learn--if at all.  That will take a generation or two.  Did not the opponents of no-fault divorce warn of the consequences once marriage became degraded to a voluntary contract without legally enforced obligations?  Yes.  Were they heeded? No.  If ever nihilism were to flower, it would be at this oxymoronic portal of "no-fault divorce".  It did.  Now Unbelief wrings its hands at the anonymity of "blended" families, child abuse, household drug abuse, homeless vagrant youth, sexual and physical slavery and a host of other social problems.  And how does Unbelief respond?  By doubling down.  More self-absorbed, self-willed, more voluntaristic nihilism. 

"No-fault divorce" was the biggest oxymoron yet seen arising out of postmodern self-absorption.  But like the addicted gambler, when losing, the only possible way out is to double the bet.  Hence the oxymoronic "no-fault divorce" is being followed by the even more oxymoronic "homosexual marriage".

Its an orc-like thing.
