Nothing to See Here--Move Along, Please
Some updates.
Firstly, context. Recall that we are now ten years into the new century. Ten years ago we were told by global warming propagandists that the end of humanity had commenced. Final meltdown was nigh, unless urgent actions were undertaken. Dire predictions were made back then of what calamities we would face in ten years time (that is, now) if the world did not wake up and repent.
Here is the latest graph from the UAH climate centre which reports constantly the global temperature data secured by satellites and weather balloons.
The data goes only back to 1979 because satellite measurements were not available earlier. (Remember, satellite temperature data has not been artificially "adjusted"--usually upwards--as the land based temperature readings are.)
Nothing particularly startling here. And how many more tonnes of manmade CO2 emissions have gone up into the atmosphere in the last ten years? Shouldn't we be seeing something far more compelling in the actual temperature data by now?
And how about the Arctic sea-ice, which was on the cusp of turning into a molten lake: Latest data is here:
Mmmm. Not too bad at all. And now for the catastrophic melting Antarctic icecap:
What a croc! Ah, but we are experiencing all sorts of climate extremes, right? Climate change is the deal now. Yup, climate is changing all the time--from colder to warmer, wetter to drier, windier to calmer--and back again. It has nothing to do with man-made CO2 emissions. It never has.
