Which Yoke?

We believe, as we have often expressed, that a day is coming when the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea. We believe that the Great Commission--to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, and all men becoming disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ--will actually be fulfilled in history. We believe in the conversion of the Gentiles. We believe that Christ will reign from heaven until all His enemies have been placed under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death. This is the trajectory along which the Kingdom of God is heading.

There is, however, a false religion, a satanic perversion of Christian teaching, which also believes in world-wide triumph.

I believe that one day Britain, and indeed every part of the world, will be governed by and under the authority of the Muslims implementing Islamic Law.

This is Islam's version of the future: totalitarian rule of the whole earth by the imposition of sharia law. If it does not come about peacefully (that is, by people surrendering to it) then it will be imposed by bloodshed.

So, two world-views of history's trajectory. One view is the truth; the other is false. Christ will eventually dismember and breakdown Islam, heart by heart, soul by soul, converting Islamists from the inside out. They will willingly and freely take the yoke of Christ upon themselves: the yoke of Him who is gentle and humble of heart. The end result will be joy without measure for the whole world.

The false view, Satan's Islamist "gospel", cannot covert the heart from darkness to light, for he is and remains the Prince of Darkness.

The West once reverenced the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now it is being handed over to Islam. It still has a choice of yoke: either the gentle yoke of our Lord, or the harsh, slavish imposition of Islam. Either the yoke of joy and peace and forgiveness of sins, or the yoke of bloodshed and oppression and tyrannical subjugation.

Either way, it will wear the yoke. Which yoke will the West choose? So far, the West is as the lamb going up to slaughter.
