It's a Mad World

Ideationism and the White Witch

Every so often the vacuity of Unbelief and rebellion against God is revealed in startling fashion.  In a recent example, an "expert" in child rearing was arguing that babies ought to be consulted before their nappies (diapers) were changed.
‘Sexuality expert’ and author Deanne Carson has attracted mass ridicule after suggesting babies should “give consent” to having their nappies/diapers changed by their parents.

Speaking to ABC News (Australia), Carson was asked what age clients she works with.  She replied: “We work with children from three years old, we work with parents from birth”.  “From birth?” the host responds, to which Carson smugly retorts:

“Yeah, just about how to set up a culture of consent in their homes. So, ‘I’m going to change your nappy now, is that ok?’  Of course the baby isn’t going to respond, ‘Yes mum that’s awesome, I’d love to have my nappy changed’. But if you leave a space and wait for body language and wait to make eye contact then you’re letting that child know that their response matters”. [Raheem Kassam, Breitbart London]
Carson (allegedly) has an extensive consulting practice in how to raise children--and, of course, teaching them gender neutrality, trans-genderism, and human sexuality.
She [or possibly biologically a male] is, consequently, an "expert" who long ago left the realms of physical and genetic reality in favour of the make-believe world of ideationism, where one's ideas are treated as one's reality.
According to her Facebook bio, Carson is CEO of Body Safety Australia — “Victoria’s leading provider of positive relationship education in early childhood, primary and secondary schools.”  She also works with young people and their communities, hold workshops and writes about sex, sexuality, body safety, relationships and gender, her bio added.  [The Blaze]
Carson, then, is living in an artificially constructed world.  Her world represents a perverse doppelganger of Narnia.  In C. S. Lewis's terms, however, she would represent a modern incarnation of the White Witch. But instead of Turkish Delight, she trades in the alternative universe of ideationism, where one's sexuality and gender is anything one wants it to be.  It is fair to say Carson is an accurate incarnation of the zeitgeist of our age.

As Kassam pointed out,
She also failed to communicate what would or should happen if said baby refuses “consent” to having their diaper changed.
Our suggestion to our late great White Witch is to treat gravity like she treats human sexuality and gender.  Until then he/she will be deservedly ridiculed.
