I'd like to put those questions to the anonymous spokesperson, no doubt her reaction would be interesting.

Sex-selective abortions are emphatically NOT a practise restricted to Indian and Chinese families. There are documented instances of white American women having abortions because they want a "balanced" family. The same thing certainly happens in Britain.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8614009373413502880.post-89863574673702241942013-01-13T09:04:40.626+13:002013-01-13T09:04:40.626+13:00Abortion ideologues have a major problem at this p...Abortion ideologues have a major problem at this point. Either they have to advocate a woman's right to dispose of the unborn child as she will, or propose some constraints. Any constraint will have recourse to a "higher principle"--in this case, women's rights and gender neutrality.

But that is an impossible position for the abortionist to argue coherently and rationally because the fundamental philosophical plank of the ideology of abortion is that the unborn is not a human being.

JT

John Tertullianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11195747255458392629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8614009373413502880.post-36093043825344260932013-01-12T21:28:50.143+13:002013-01-12T21:28:50.143+13:00Whoever the Department of Health "spokeswoman...Whoever the Department of Health "spokeswoman" is, she is correct to call it morally wrong but it is no more wrong than any other type of abortion. I guess some of the time it's not the woman's right to choose after all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
